With the Specsavers Tea dance in the afternoon & The Hangar Ball in the evening sold out and having waiting lists, Pete Wayre really raised the roof. With massive applause from both events attendees at around 700 people each show! His Music Hall and UK track sing-a-long show in the Tea Dance really livened up the senior citizens in the afternoon, and he raised his game at night with a classic set of Louis Prima, Benny Goodman Orchestra, Sinatra and many more early classics keeping everyone on the dance floor and taking the baton from The Orchestra.

Pete also got interviewed by a TV show and received thanks from the Specsavers founder Dame Mary Perkins. He was also asked to sing live with the infamous Syd Lawrence Orchestra on both shows in the events finale of a long sing-a-long medley. The whole event was stunning with a very large venue, amazing sound and lighting and Specsavers sparing no expense on making the events visually stunning and a one for everyones diary for years to come.

Also working with Pete was the female vocalist Heather Marie McHale who showed true style in her laid back vocal performance; she impressed. In attendance was the one and only Viv The Spiv with partner in crime Laura who added that little extra touch. The Entertainments section was well and truly appreciated at this years event and made this an event to remember. Continue reading »]]> Pete Wayre has an all time high level of bookings for the middle part of 2012! It is the busiest set of UK work to be booked in 12 years apart from the 3 years in Spain. With lots of hard work and amazing versatility Pete has continued to wow audiences across the country and affirm his position as one of the leading independent Singers in the UK. April, May, June this year has seen more work booked than any other year in the past 13. His popularity is increasing to record levels and with his many shows available it is easy to see why.

He is storming the 40′s scene and continues to be the firm favourite as a Robbie Williams Tribute Singer. Mixed music at functions is a hot favourite with bookings!

Another large event and one of the biggest in the UK is Ramsey. Pete is now booked to work with Lola Lamour & P E Casper over the course of 2 days & 1 evening. Friday day & Eve & Sat Day..to be confirmed.

He has also been noticed by Pickering, another of the countries leading events and is to work the club there. A busy 2012 marks his best year yet since returning from tour in Spain!
